Partners gather in Cyprus for the 4th ECLN partnership meeting

The 4th ECLN Network partners meeting has been hosted by Hope for Children and is taking place in Cyprus from 8-10 October 2014. Over 25 representatives joined Sophia and the team at Hope for Children in Nicosia yesterday from Collage Arts (UK), Rinova (UK), Mulab (Italy), VIA University (Denmark), New Arts (Netherlands), Kau Academy (Estonia), CEPS (Spain), Arteria (Poland), Mitra (Slovenia), Prostor Plus (Croatia) and Dimitra (Greece) to share information, review and feedback on the pilot testing, brainstorm ideas on curriculum design and plan the next steps of the project.

Day 1 started with a presentation from each partner on the pilot testing that ran from May to August 2014 in the 10 countries and included a review of the photographic and video material produced.

Day 2 has included feedback from Eddy and Martin (VIA University) on the pilot presentations and animated workshops led by Dr Denise Stanley (Collage Arts) on artist and cultural organisation archetypes.  The rest of the day will focus on creating ECLN syllabus and strategies for CPD/training and learning support, dissemination and exploitation.

Day 3 will have all partners planning for the next phase of the project and discussions about Quality and Evaluation.  The day will conclude with a mini-conference and public presentation for an invited audience of Cypriot artists, stakeholder organisations and local media.
